When I got here, I knew I had found a place where I can perfectly harmonize my intellectual, moral and spiritual pursuits. And I can confidently say that I have achieved that. So, I am ready to serve my community with the communication skills I have attained at UCU.
Uganda Christian University has made my dreams of media work a reality. And I am eager to go back home with these skills, to transform my community in DRC by becoming a voice for the voiceless for the people back home.
UCU instilled in me a sense of discipline, self-respect and smartness, virtues that I find useful in my professional and personal life. I also had admirable women to look up to in my faculty. Prof. Monica Chibita and Dr. Emilly Maractho served as wonderful examples to base my image on at the workplace..
UCU is a place that has exposed me to a pool of disciplines and professionals that have directly mentored and supported me, I am indebted to it for the person I am today.
My time at the School of Journalism, Media and Communication not only honed my skills as a videographer, photographer, and audio podcast maker, but it also taught me the power of storytelling through multiple media.
